Well now you can AND at no charge! Backwash Related Content Feeds let you add dynamic links that match your site's content!

This content can be anything from great articles, mp3’s, games, chats, contests, streaming video, downloads and anything else available on the Internet, all of it hand-selected by our members for the highest quality.  This goes far beyond Yahoo's related links which generally focus on news features only and isn't syndicated anyway.

Until now, no one has been able to offer a similar service because of the large staffing demands required to hand-filter the Internet. With our innovative design, we have harnessed the Internet community to find and recommend the best content available. Even better, when recommending content, our members then classify the content into over 500 subject and personality categories, as well as dozens of other classifications such as content type, broadband requirements, availability, quality ratings and more -- all of it designed to help deliver the most highly targeted related content possible!  And we now make it all available in Daily Content Feeds to you so you can provide related content to your readers as well!

Right now, you have the choice of any personality channel as well as the Daily Top 20 chart for each version of Backwash -- General, Kids and Adult. (To access links for the Adult or Kids versions, you must go to their respective sections.)

In the near future, you'll also be able to create your own personal channel so your site visitors can see exactly what you want them to see! In the meantime, if there is a channel you want created that you don't see available, please send an email to feedback@backwash.com with the title of the channel and the subject matter you want included in it and we will do our best to accommodate you as quickly as possible.

Please note that all links from Backwash Content Feeds appear in a Backwash Frame. This is required so that readers can rate the content (a critical component in our classification & delivery structure) and so they can discuss the content they view. When we offer personalization, we will also allow you to co-brand the Backwash frame with your own logo and allow you to control the banner ads which appear in it as well. When you register, be sure to join our mailing list so we can keep you informed when that feature is available.

One more note -- We focus on providing links to all Internet content rather than simply news.  Because news goes stale after such a quick period, we tend not to focus on it and leave the filtering of it to companies using bot-engines. Our strength is the ability to filter content that requires human review and the bots skip over -- about 98% of the Internet.  If you are looking to add news to your site, you should use a service such as Moreover.  If you are already using a Moreover feed, then you are probably aware of its limitations and realize that a Backwash feed works great in tandem with Moreover!
